Sambor Prei Kuk (SPK) is one of the main tourist attractions in Kampong Thom. The Sambor Prei Kuk Conservation and Development Community has 600 members in 7 villages. The untouched and overgrown temples of Sambor Prei Kuk are a unique pre-Angkorian attraction located only 30 km north of the provincial town of Kampong Thom. O’Svay community based ecotourism project consists of five villages ( O’Svay village, O’Run, Koh Phnov, Koh Hib, and Voeun Sien village) and four surrounding islands. O’Svay community is the most popular destination in Stung Treng province both for local Cambodian and international visitors. Preah Rumkel
Preah Rumkel community based project is located near the Laos border in Stung Treng Province. The village is beside the Mekong river, where you can admire the Irrawaddy Dolphins and explore the many small surrounding islands. This is a good destination for relaxing near the Mekong river and enjoying bird watching in the forest. This area offers a gateway to the Sopheakmith waterfalls, a very unique place in Cambodia.
