elephantELEPHANT VALLEY PROJECT

Visit the elephant sanctuary and learn about the protection of elephants in Cambodia

“We just love their motto “Let Them Roam Free”. Their guiding principle is that they do what is best for elephants, plain and simple, and when you come to visit them you know that this is true.”

DESCRIPTION

“The Elephant Valley Project is a bit of an abstract experience, you walk off into the elephant’s natural habitat and watch them being elephants. There is no riding, no tricks, no shows, just elephants being elephants in their own natural space. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?” (Jack Highwood – Founder of EVP)

PLAN YOUR TRIP

NOT TO BE MISSED

The project offers half-day and full day visit.

  • Hike into the beautiful Cambodian jungle and spend a full day with the elephants, shadowing two families in the morning and afternoon. Learn about the elephants, local people, forest and conservation.
  • For those on a budget or short on time you can also visit for a half day. You will hike out to meet one group of elephants in the morning in their natural habitat. Enjoy the buffet lunch at the base camp mid-day and then return to Sen Monorom around 2:30 PM.

2 – 3 DAYS STAY

Again there are plenty of options to choose from.
2 DAY / 1 NIGHT STAY “TASTE OF THE JUNGLE”(Bookings possible Tuesday – Thursday) – For those wanting to experience a little more of the project, why not spend two days at the project and one night. The first day you spend the morning and afternoon visiting elephants and the second day you will be helping us with volunteer work and visiting elephants again in the afternoon!
