OVERVIEW

Explore Cambodian wildlife and indigenous communities

Andong Kralong is a village of with 117 families about 25 km far from Sen Monorom town. In this village, there are plenty of natural resources such as: forest, wildlife (exotic birds), waterfall sites, streams as well as the Bunong culture. These resources are protected by local people at all authority levels as the Bunong Ethnic Community is legally supported by the Ministry of Interior, which means that the community is legally using its own land. Therefore, there is lots of potential for local community to benefit from CBET (Community Based Ecotourism) due to the numerous natural resources and the legal management of the community.

Please be aware this is a new site with a relatively low number of visitors, so you will get a truly unique experience, however facilities might be very basic.

Travelling from Phnom Penh or Siem Reap you will be able to find several VIP minibus companies travelling directly to Sen monorom (often also called Mondulkiri town).  From there you will need to find local transport to the project site. The best option might be to hire a motorbike or local motodop to take you to the village.
