HOMESTAY DETAILS

Koh Samseb provides you the opportunity to explore rural life where you can enjoy the experience and learn more about local life in countryside, and living in a wooden house in rural Cambodia. You can explore the houses around the village, the orchards and vegetable gardens, and taste traditional Khmer cooking. Each homestay has electricity, and each house has Khmer style bathroom. The host families are known for the quality of their home-cooking. Guests sleep on comfortable mattresses under a mosquito net.

Itinerary

1 night homestay:

**Although you can arrive at any time, the local bus (by far the cheapest option) leaves between 12-1, so unless you have your own transport option, we advise you take this bus.

12:00pm- 1:00pm :you need to arrive the Kratie bus station and find the bus to Koh Khnae
3pm: you arrive Koh Khnae viilage ands Koh Samseb Office, welcomed by the community manager.

3:30pm: you can enjoy walking by yourself to see the different ethnic minority villages of:
-Khsach leav
-Koh Khnae
-Punchea village

5:00pm : arrive home and relax before dinner with the family
Around at 6:00- 7:00pm: enjoy dinner with family and then relax at the family homestay before bed.

Getting there

Phnom Penh to Koh Samseb Community

From Phnom Penh you need to take VIP bus service to Kratie (about 5 hours) and get off when you reach Kratie bus station.

You can book a bus to Kratie on Book Me Bus

Once you arrive in Kratie, you can call the local bus driver (the project manager can provide you with his number when you book.) It is about an hour from Kratie to Koh Khnae (which is the base for exploring Koh Samseb), heading north on National road 7.
